CONNESTEE FALLS BASS FISHING TOURNAMENT 

(3rd Annual - Lake Ticoa Dam- 2024)

The tournament is open to all Connestee Falls property owners and their guests, preferably Fishing Club Members. There is a maximum of two persons fishing per boat. Teams of two (max) may fish from shore.  ONLY artificial lures and plastic worms may be used. Live bait, that is, minnows, worms and dynamite, are NOT allowed. The BASS must be at least 12 inches long to qualify for the prizes. All other fish should be released.

The entry fee is $10.00 per team of two. One Person fishing by them selves is $10.00. The entry fee must be paid directly to me before 8:00 P.M. on Friday May 3rd so the prizes can be determined. No entries or payments will be accepted on Saturday.  The tournament will be rescheduled if there are thunderstorms or horrible weather on Saturday. Cash Prizes will be awarded, the amounts depending upon and totaling the number of entries.  All entry fees are divided up into the prizes.

The prize for the Big (Heaviest) Bass will be the largest amount. Prizes are also awarded for the heaviest stringers of three Bass. The winning Big Bass does not count towards a stringer, so four Bass per boat is the maximum brought to the weigh-in. After they are weighed, the fish will be released.  Once the one Big Bass is declared, the other Big Bass entries can be included in the stringers of three, so teams can release their fourth/smallest Bass. A live well or large cooler is suggested to keep the fish alive, refreshing the water or using a battery operated aerator.

Paid participants need to be at the Lake Ticoa Dam Dock at 7:30 A.M. for the start of the tournament. You need not be in your boat at 7:30 and do not need to fish all morning. You and your Bass must be present at the 12:00 P.M. SHARP weigh-in at the Lake Ticoa Dam Dock to qualify for the prizes. All Bass must be caught on the day of and during the hours of the Connestee Falls Bass Fishing Tournament from Lake Ticoa.  Everyone, especially spectators, are welcome for the 12:00 SHARP weigh-in as the fish will be anxious to get back in the water.

All Connestee Falls rules and regulations apply except that a
 Connestee Falls Fishing License is waived for participants.
Participating Boats must be registered with CFPOA.
              And one of the participants must be a Connestee Falls Property Owner.
Connestee Falls property owners are not liable for any injuries or losses.
