Bass Fishing Tournament Links
- Linda and I moved to 95 acre Berkeley Lake (near Duluth, GA) about 1987, a few of us organized the first tournament in 1993. The results above are after digital photography was available.
- The BLHA fertilized and limed the the 5MPH lake. The Fish Grew!
- After 2001, the lake was drained and the earthen dam was rebuilt. The organizations at Berkeley have made the lake into a fishing paradise.
- In 2001, we moved to 135 acre Lake Lanier (near Tryon, NC). Lake maintenance was basically just removing trees for the speed boats. The fishing tournaments were a regular spring event.
- Lake Sidney Lanier is in Georgia, the Sidney is usually silent.
- In 2020, we moved to the 4000 acre Connestee Falls development (near Brevard, NC) which contains four good size lakes. These lakes are very well maintained by the large CF Fishing Club.
- The 1998 tournament was photographed and published in a coffee table book called "the Angler's Life" by Larry Sheehan. The book also contains fishing stories from all over, including our Berkeley Lake Retreat.
- I'll update this if and when I organzie more tournaments. Stu Davidson 828-817-2919 stu@davidsonantiques.com
